MG Motor to begin customer engagement programme in March

MG Motor is inviting past car owners to various experiential events to educate them about its upcoming products.

As a part of a customer engagement programme, SAIC-owned British car manufacturer, MG (Morris Garages) Motor is making an effort to connect to owners of its classic cars.

The owners who still have their cars in running condition will be invited to various experiential events that will start in March 2018. The company will also educate them about its upcoming product line-up. MG says that various owners have already reached out to the company and shown an interest in the programme.

MG cars were sold in India as CBUs since operations began in 1924. However, modern MG models will be locally manufactured at General Motor’s Halol facility in Gujarat, which was taken over by MG in september last year. The company will make its entry in our market in 2019. Its first offerings are likely to be the GS SUV, which will rival the likes of Hyundai Creta, and the ZS SUV, which will slot in below the GS.
